This year’s Geneva motor show hasn’t been the supercar-fest that 2013 was, when LaFerrari and the production-ready McLaren P1 were unveiled, along with the Porsche 911 GT3 and Lamborghini Veneno. Still, with a potential candidate for world’s fastest car and promising concepts from Maserati and Alfa Romeo in attendance this year, you don’t have to look far for Geneva exotica. Here’s the CAR Top 5.
Cadillac CTS-V coming in RHD
The Cadillac CTS-V – we assume in Coupe, Saloon and Estate versions – is being prepared for launch in the UK in right hand drive. One of the good things to come out of General Motors’ financial woes of a few years ago – apart from producing smaller world cars – has been the arrival of the Cadillac CTS-V. The Cadillac CTS-V may not be the biggest seller Cadillac are ever going to produce, but as a halo car to demonstrate just how good Cadillac can be, it’s pretty much unbeatable.
Toyota has done more with the redesigned RAV4 than take the spare tire off the back. On sale now in its fourth generation, the 2013 Toyota RAV4 has lost its available V6 engine, gained a new six-speed automatic transmission and added some features inside. To be honest, we aren’t in love with this interior.
